Outside time

My kids are well balanced when it comes to play time. Sometimes they like to stay in front of the TV. Sometimes they like to create art all day. Sometimes they like to play in the playroom and destroy its contents. But their favorite place is...outside on the play fort. You can't even imagine some of the things they come up with to play. Funny thing is, they hardly ever go up to the top part of the fort. As a kid, I would have loved to have had a place like that to play. But they rarely use that part of the play set. The do a lot of swinging. If you ask Mallory what her favorite part of the day is, she will mostly say "swinging". Mason uses it as a jail, rescue center, battleship, and most anything else.

These are pictures of them playing around a few days ago. Notice how Mallory is sitting in the swings. She did this all by herself.

I think Mason was telling her how to do it!
