Baby update

I had two days last week of some serious contractions. Just when I was getting excited about going early, the contractions would end. When I went to the doctor on Friday, my body had not changed other than the baby had dropped down. However, my blood pressure was low, 100/78. They kept me an extra few minutes and took my pressure another two times. After resting, it got back into the normal range so they sent me home. This afternoon I decided to stop by my local fire station to have them check it again just to make sure. The paramedic said my pressure was 160/90, definitely in the high range. He advised me to call my doctor. When I called the after-hours number, they paged the doctor, which just happened to be the doctor that is scheduled to do my C-section. After hearing my news, she placed me on bed rest until she could see me on Tuesday morning. So, I'm catching up on my blog. Nothing else I can really do. Oh, well. Just a few more days.
